Guernseys
Guernsey's are originally from the Isle of Guernsey. Introduction of the Guernsey to America occurred around September 1840. That's about the same time I fell in love with the breed as a small child, or in the late 60s, either way. The Guernsey cow is known for producing high-butterfat, high-protein milk with a high concentration of beta carotene. Not only is their milk amazing, they are beautiful and have wonderful, sweet temperaments.
